I have spent some time gazing at the fire, watching the sparks and tongues of flame dance in the inferno of the hearth or bonfire. Often I find myself seeing images of beings dancing in the flames. When I decided to create the Pixie Flame Chain, I sculpted tiny links of chain in the form of the pixies I have seen in there. Several people asked if they could have the links made as charms or amulets, so I now offer the various links separately: one of the is The Fire Pixie Amulet.

About an inch an inch and a half long (about 4 cm) she is caught in sterling silver. Her hair develops the loop behind her head as she turns to face you; she is made of flames, trailing down past where her feet would be (if she was human) and shape a loop beneath her. Her shape suggests a human form, but she is a flame creature and looks like she would morph into something different at any second.

For the amulet I have placed a jump ring to hang from, however I leave the bottom link intact. Some have used it to suspend other things off of their pixie: beads and other keep-sakes. Others have worked it in as a component to their own creations.

I make a variety of pixies which may bee seen in my web site, each may be collected into the Flame Pixie Chain (or bracelet) or to accent the Fire Chain; both are made of separately sculpted links of silver in the form of fire.
